The artist Neo Gibson’s enigmatic moniker, 7038634357, is back for 2025. The name of the project comes from the digits of Gibson’s phone number, which may or may not still be in use (we didn’t try to call). 7038634357 has been swimming in forward-thinking underground music waters for around a decade now, making music that, at various points, has danced around the edges of the club and then sometimes left that place altogether. “Fall Apart” is a frosty crooner defined as much by its sound design as its cooing topline. The tune’s tranced-out arpeggios mirror the severe weather that many are dealing with right now. It’s music for zoning out in the tundra.
