Hey this is Skwirl here to gab at you briefly about the records we have coming for our first thematic cluster! The theme is Circadian Rhythms and so as you might expect the records are presented to you by time of day. We have daylight, dusk, night and afterhours selections for you.

Tsodor is Theodor Striese (who is a lovely bright young tall lanky German guy and who is also absolutely hilarious and goofy and kindly and a true gent). Our “Night” record for Circadian Rhythms is proper dense and brooding, as is the night time really. This outstanding record was originally an EP but at some point I got greedy - no I felt a world enveloping me and…okay I got greedy and I very cheekily suggested "let's add more tunes to this actually". Theo kindly agreed - and thankfully so - because now it's a deep ass moody, dynamic, and genre hopping LP that has touches of minimal, deep house, frenetic eye watering potent bass music beats and beautiful melancholic excursions of delicate beauty. It’s a record of unfurling and blossoming - with each track reaching a moment of transcendence and then folding in on itself with grace and poignancy. This is top notch production mastery on display and a twisty high concept journey that is always more concerned with the groove than with pretentious loftiness. It’s a gorgeously haunting ride and one I couldn’t be more proud to have on Woodland Creatures.
