"This collection of iPhone recorded piano improvisations was recorded in Will’s family home between 2020-2021 during the initial COVID pandemic lockdown. During this time, Will fell back in love with his home piano, each day sitting down and iterating on a musical idea until a form felt “song” enough to hit record. While the occasional dog bark, wrong note, or plate clanking may interrupt these exploratory tunes, what results is a time-capsule of refuge in the piano and a fully-formed sense of Will’s melodic ear. 'do' represents the do-ing of sitting down at the piano and just playing. It is also the macro do-ing of 'the thing,' the common pursuit that is music and, in a greater sense, art as a career."
